About Naomi

I am a mother, college graduate, a Journeyman Telecommunication Lineman by trade, and serve as a Business Representative at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 1547. I am active in our community because our continued growth, joy, success and thriving future depend on community engagement.I moved here after graduating from college 15 years ago. My family and I live off of Farmers Loop with 2 labs, a cat, chickens and a big garden. I enjoy teaching my child about nature and what this great place can give to us with a little work and knowledge.I enjoy working for something I believe in, and I believe the school board can foster more positive growth in our public schools.In 2024 & 2025 I advocated for increased education funding and returning our Teacher's pensions in Juneau with the Central Labor council. I plan to do it again in 2026 as well.
